Tamar Protection Society
The aims of the Society are:
  • To improve, protect and preserve for the benefit of the public the countryside and the county towns and villages of the Tamar and its surrounding area.
  • To educate the public in the local history of the area by provision of a museum.
Today the Society continues to keep a watching brief on any proposed developments along the lower reaches of the River Tamar as well as managing two differing heritage properties.
